The Tennessee Artist’s Association will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 18th. This meeting is free and open to anyone interested in the arts in East Tennessee. It will be at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 6500 Northshore Dr., Knoxville, on Tuesday, June 18, from 7:00 to 8:45 pm. Light snacks will be provided.

She opened Davis Studio in 2005, and more recently has begun focusing on her personal career as an artist by launching BrockLine Art—her own line of original paintings as well as greeting cards and prints featuring her artwork. Shannon loves to paint a variety of subjects, but is most passionate about painting barns and animals. She also loves to paint old toys, signs and characters in a pop art style. Her preferred mediums are watercolor, oil and acrylic.

Shannon will speak about how to do certain parts of framing at home with a demonstration showing examples, the tools needed, and how to use them etc.
