October 2024 Meeting
Shanon Kelley gave a great presentation during our October meeting, sharing about her philosophy of using the arts as a mechanism for community building. She is an artist and a community organizer from Newport, Tennessee. She works with communities to tell their stories through her paintings, illustrations, and murals.
Looking forward to next month’s meeting on November 19th at 7pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 6500 Northshore Dr., Knoxville. The guest artist is Gayla Steele and the challenge theme is “Experiment with Juxtaposition”.
